Kaija Aarikka

Kaija Aarikka founded Aarikka Oy with her husband Erkki Ruokonen in 1954 and served as its artistic director.
Aarikka combined a sense of playfulness and a strong sense of form with the skillful and versatile use of wood in the jewelry, toys, and home use and decorative items she designed.
